Location excellent. Room was small enough and at first we were given a twin room, rather than a double. There was no bath in our room. The first night (Saturday night) there was a massive amount of noise after midnight - we felt like we were staying above a late night club. The cleaning staff were up and noisy very early on Monday morning - they were hoovering the corridor and banging off the doors, including ours, before 8am. They didn't seem to realise that people were staying there and sleeping!! There was a connecting room beside ours, which i hope was locked, but I'm not sure, and there seemed to be very little insulation between the rooms - i could hear full conversations in the other room - and hair-driers.

the hotel has a superb location. However it is looking a little tired and is not up to the standard one would expect for the price. We were offered an upgrade to a "recently refurbished room" - which we took, it was not made clear that the amount charged would be for each night, and there is no way that our room had been recently refurbished. we did mention this on checking out and the receptionist pointed out that we should have mentioned it further. she did take a small charge off our bill if I remember rightly. The staff in the piano bar were superb.

Lovely hotel in a great location - surrounded by posh shops, posh cars and posh restaurants! Beware of car parking costs though - our one night stay cost £66 extra by the time we got the car out. We noticed the Grosvenor House Hotel across the road - they have their own car park and I'd rather pay more for the room and stay there (if its feasible!).

Great location to Oxford Street which is ideal for shopping and only a 5 minute walk to/from nearest underground at Bond Street.

Conscierge - super, very helpful. Reception staff did not have a great knowledge of local area etc

Only criticism would be that the continental breakfast was not very good- poor variety and choice in cereals/breads.
